Position Summary
Adjunct Faculty - Genetics

The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University is seeking a part-time faculty member for Genetics during the upcoming semester. The School of Health Sciences offers genetics courses to students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, and Health Science.

Current Openings include:

Genetics Lecture:
- Mondays & Wednesdays, 12:30 - 1:45 pm
Genetics Lab:
- Wednesdays, 8:00 - 11:00 am

All listings are for in-person classes that are already scheduled. Course times cannot be adjusted, as students are already registered for the courses.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone.
Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.

Master's degree in biology or related field required, doctorate preferred.
Experience teaching genetics at the college level.
Proficiency in maintaining an organized Canvas page and ability to deliver engaging course material.
